About Us

I was born in Florence. After painting when I was a teenager, I resumed by studying drawing and painting in Rome in the nineties, under the tutorship of Mrs. Pierangelini Recchioni (sculptor) .

I then spent a long time in Brussels for professional reasons, where I attended several workshops in drawing and paintings, including a long-term attendance at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ixelles (Ecole d'Ixelles). Back in Italy, I live and work now between Rome and Tuscany.

I have a long experience of drawing and painting and can work with a variety of media, including mixed media, aiming to express a very personal and modern figurative style.

I am also producing small-size sculptures using several media (clay, bronze, plaster).

The figures and nudes have been appreciated as explorations of the plasticity of the human body, as well as of the interplay of light and colors. These works seem to represent the search for expressions that are not real, but rather archetypal. They show fading physicality and form a continuous tension between the reality of things and the reality of the expression. In the paintings, there is a strong transcendence, merging with feelings, dreams and poetry. The same feelings are also present in my landscapes, mainly inspired by Tuscany.

I held a number of personal and collective exhibitions in Brussels, including at Banca Monte Paschi Belgio and at the Gallery "Espace 44".

I participated to Accessible Art Fair, Brussels, in 2010

My paintings are present in personal collections, in Italy and throughout Europe.

Banca Monte Paschi Belgio exhibits one painting of mine in its permanent exhibition space in Brussels.

I had a collaboration with the Art gallery Palma Arte in Saliceto d'Alseno, Piacenza, Italy, that exhibited my works in International Art Fairs in recent years (Lille Art Fair in France, Arti12 in the Hague in the Netherlands, Art Gent in Belgium). I have a space in the gallery's general catalogue.

I held exhibitions in Italy, in Rome  in 2014 and 2015, in Pietrasanta (Tuscany) in 2014 and in Signa (Tuscany) in 2016.

The last exhibitions, in Rome, were held at the Gallery Spazio40, in Trastevere, on 19-21 May 2017 and at the Hybris Art Gallery, Trastevere, May 2019.
